The puff is normal in the little guys. The black spot on the frame beside the exhaust is called a 'diesel kiss' by some. You could try holding the glow plugs on for a few seconds longer in colder weather. That might help some.

Perfectly normal on the XG3025. No emission crap on it, so that is just the start up sooty fuel until combustion is 'warmed up' and burning normally. When I start mine up in the winter now with additives in the fuel, it really gives about 4-5 seconds of heavy exhaust.

There is nothing wrong with your tractor, without a dpf it is normal to get a puff of smoke when starting
and if your lugging it down to almost stalling it will smoke, perfectly normal.
Your best bet would be as has been mentioned would be to reroute the exhaust.
High above your level or possibly route it back behind the rear axle,
personally I always disliked the rear axle exhausts.

Maybe, A high quality synthetic such as Amsoil Diesel Engine Oil: Shop Engine Oil for Diesel Engines - AMSOIL If nothing else, you're getting the best engine protection you can.

I'm short, no. No matter what oil you choose it is not going to change your emissions.

I would do your own research of motor oils rather than asking. Opens a whole can of my oils better than yours debate. Plenty of threads on just on that within TBN.

If you care to do further research on oil recommendations follow some of the posters on those threads and you'll be surprised. Such as only the perceived best oil for the motor but then turn around and buy the cheapest hydraulic oil they can find. So do your own research and your own decisions.
