They do that here. The property tax in my county is among the cheapest in the nation but I did have to pay like $200 for personal property. You’re supposed to fill out a form of everything I own but I never do. They forced assessed value at like $50,000 and the $200 tax was for that much.

Probably not the best idea admitting to tax fraud on the internet.

Is it fraud if I pay them what they asked for?
I thought you said you were required to fill out a form, but you never do?

It said if I didn’t fill it out they would accesses the value themselves it didn’t mention prison if I didn’t.

Many semi-trucks though are going down the road with only 10 tires, instead of the much more common 18 tires ...
12 tires is standard here in Europe for the last 40 years. Usually a 385/55R22.5 on the front, 315/70R22.5 duals on the drive axle and three axles with 385/65R22.5 under the trailer. Some run 315/70R22.5 on the front too, but most prefer the bigger tire on the front, because the front tire is the most risky tire to blow out..

Trailer duals as a insurance against tire blowouts is something nobody cares about, because if a trailer tire blows out, you can still keep it on the road (unlike if a steer tire blows) . You wont get far when putting all the load on one dual either, before it blows too.

A 425/55R22.5 supersingle for 11.5 ton rated drive axles, ive seen them on photos but never in real life...

Construction trucks often run 385/65R22.5 and 315/80R22.5 though.

Don't need to get too far ... But I've driven 20 miles on a blown out tire beside a good one, to get to a tire shop ... Sure I could sit on the side of the road on a narrow shoulder 1' (30cm) off the travel lane with idiots not paying attention and possibly me or the road service technician getting hit ... I'd rather get off the road at a shop ...

My tires I run as duals have a much higher weight rating as a "single" than when used as a duals side by side, besides ... Usually I don't run anywhere near max capacity weight wise, so it won't be a problem of being too much weight on it.

ETA - this what I run ... Duals will also keep the blown out tires rim off the road.
