Differential lock description, per Ford manual::
"Depressing the pedal locks the REAR AXLE SHAFTS TOGETHER"
I was under the mistaken beleif it would stay locked. I thought I pushed the lever to lock and unlock. I didn't realize until the first few posts, which I acknowledged, that I have to hold it down.
I find this a poor design, and would like to modify it. The design seems so useless to me, that I thought something must have been wrong, when I realized I have to hold it down.
