hi ive finished rebuilding a td 950 out of a lb1914. went together nice . i'm at the stage of putting the valve train together and putting the flywheel on.now the manual is very vauge on a few things. on the flywheel there are marks for each cylinder tdc and also fi for each cylinder.the flywheel can be bolted on in any potion so how do you line this up so when the engine is placed back in you know your timed properly to match the inspection hole in the cluth housing.a the engine is on tdc 1 cylinder . ive never rebuilt a diesel so im used to external timing marks on gas jobs.any help would be appreciated.will buy a runner next time.

I know this is an old question, but flywheel should only go on in one orientation. The bolt hole locations will not allow you to screw it up and get them all in. If it went on first try you just got lucky.
