I have an LS xr4150H, the error F02 973 is on, as well as the fuel warning light. I changed the fuel filter but the problem still occurs (Limp Mode). I added fuel treatment and a half tank of new diesel and it takes longer but still persist. I shut it down, return in about 30 minutes and it is back to normal for another 20 minutes and BAM, happens again. Any ideas?

You sure it's F02 973 & not F02 173?

F02 97 is (P2269) Water in Fuel detect (both amber & red warning light solid on).
F02 173 (only Amber warning light solid on) is (P242E) DPF In temp sensor low fault or (P242B) DPF In temp sensor plausibility fault.

If your positive it's water in fuel, try draining the tank & lines, replace the fuel filter again & see if it goes away after reprime. Water in fuel will stop the regen process, so you may need to regen after changing out fuel. If it's the DPF, try running a regen. If you are getting water in your fuel find out why & fix that to keep it from happening again.
