Just sold my F250 which weighed more than my Tesla. Only one ICE car left that my daughter drives.
Nice to have two EVs that have 80% less moving parts.
Hopefully will never buy another ICE car.
Time to embrace the future.

That's a beautiful truck, I imagine the buyer will get many good years with her! I love two-tone...

What were other options to have it repaired in a timely fashion?
Tesla but Everett Cash Mutual was not an online option on Tesla's claims submission site. Since I was not feeling strong the hassle was more than I wanted to think about it Plus my two old cars has went down battery wise after buying the Tesla so my son wanted me to get those rehabbed.

After I learned the shop owner that rebuilt the Leaf EV after it got totalled 8 months after getting a new $12K traction battery from Nissan had lost a lot of his assets in a forced stock split might want to tap into the ever increasing Tesla rebuild demands locally. When he said he was interested I told him to make it happen more or less on his timeline and thankfully he did even though it took him about 5 weeks to become authorized to buy Tesla parts directly from Tesla. As of last Wednesday he had many of the parts and was expected the remaining parts later that week. Over the years a lot of other local businesses encouraged me to keep going in my darker days, which I appreciate.

People getting their first EV need to keep this in mind because somebody pulling out in front of you may not realize you're going to be a little further down the road than they anticipated.

Which is also the primary cause of the "EV tires wear faster" myth. Accelerate and brake harder, tires wear out faster no matter EV or ICE.

Some EV's can accelerate like a sport bike, so you have to drive them like one. Perhaps doubly so because no one can hear you approaching.

True, also when I park the truck, bike or any other vehicle we have the dog barks, but with the ev, I have driven up the drive, parked the car, and already at the house opening the door before the dog finally realizes someone has arrived.

I still find it amazing that even hypermiling the motorcycle it can't get anywhere near as many miles per dollar spent on fuel as the ev, not even close, but we do have relatively cheap KWH prices.
