Ever thought of going over to the Dark Side?

I have actually been looking at Kioti, they offer many really nice features as standard that are expensive (profitable) options with Deere, Kubota and NH like rear 3pt controls for connecting, std remote(s) amoung others.

My big "fear" is that you can easily build to a high quality standard, a modest price standard but to do both is very tricky.

Ok, after getting some pricing on bigger Kubotas (40-50 HP), and facing sticker shock, I have been taking a look at Kioti tractors. Being orange, I figure the wife won't notice and will think it is one of the Kubotas.

I would sure like the L45, but after some consideration it is really overkill in terms of performance and certainly price, for what I want to do. The Kubota dealer also said that fitting those L40 Grands (of equal power) with BH and FEL will also approach 38-39K not much less than an L45 TLB.

Just lurking in the Kioti section, it appears that a similarly equipped (FEL/BH) 45 HP with hydro will be around 28K. Unless the quality is really crap, they seem to have some interesting features.

The Kubota L4240 will lift more then your current model kioti. The DK40SE have a max lift cap with the FEL KL401 of 920lbs.

The Kubota L4240 with the standard FEL LA854 will lift 1878 Forward , Pivot Point 2489 , and Bucket Center 1874.

Maybe I am missing something,I burn wood pellets and can lift 2,000 lbs (1 ton)of my trailer with ease.K401 loader specs-lift capacity to full height at pivot pins 2716 lbs-breakout force at pivot pins 3727 lbs.Maybe you know something I don,t know.Check the Kioti website.According to kubotas website(LA854 Fel lift capacity bucket center 1874 lbs)coobie
