Everlast PowerArc 200ST arrived today. My thoughts.

So after using arc force control, is it a feature you can't live without?

Oh I can live without it! I just think it is very how much control these inverters have over the puddle!
When I started out this is all you ever seen on a job site. About as bare bones as it gets.:laughing:

I have never seen a arc force control on any of my millers or lincolns. Shield, I am glad you shed light on the arc force control. I would have thought it to be backwards, the higher the # the wetter the puddle. I am going to start messing with a inverter machine and that is good to know. CJ

My Miller Dynasty 300 calls it dig. I paid over $6,000.00 for the Dynasty 300, and both Everlast machines will weld circles around it with SMAW.:muttering::muttering::muttering:

Update: I think maybe I was a bit unfair to the quality of the stinger. I mentioned that the grip kept slipping off. Well, I found a set screw and once I tightened it down it was fine. The spring is still very stiff, but I'm hoping that loosens in time. I burned some more rods with it today and it is an awesome machine! Get rid of your old boat anchor welders and get one of these light little puppies that welds better anyway!
