Sorry skin,

I obviously missed a reply here. The new PowerPlasma 50S units are in. These are what I mentioned previously as the Si. All units, even the mosfet supercut units have had significant internal changes. The PowerPlasma models have all received the PT series torches.

I would skip the TIG/Stick/Plasma units unless you have a specific need for one. The plasmas don't perform as well as the stand alone units.

The PowerPlasma units all have the reliable blow back design. It doesn't have HF points to deal with. I'll pm you a price right now.

Can you elaborate mark? Should I get rid of my 50? Not that I have the money or that my wife would allow it.

No. No need to get rid of it if you are happy with it. The new one has a pilot arc operation selection feature which allows you to select between a "Tip saver" function or a normal function. Can't recall which torch your unit has, but the newest ones have the iPT 60 torches, which offer a better life span on consumables overall.

(For all others)
To clarify on the previous post, I was referring to the plasma cutters that are incorporated into the multi units being the ones that don't perform as well as the stand alone plasma cutters. Re reading it, I can see where it might be an ambiguous statement regarding our plasma cutters in general.

Hey Mark, looking at the 255 ext. it's a toss up between the Lincoln sqwave 200, htp 221, or yours. What kind of deal can you get me? Can you guarantee a great experience in buying from everlast? First time I've considered non Blue or Red machine.

Hey Mark:
Please check your PM's regarding my questions on your PowerArc 200 and 200ST. Thanks.

I recently bought a Power i-MIG 200 from Mark. Ive been running it on 120v though because I only have 30amp 240v outlets currently wired.

Can I safety run it on a 30amp circuit and just have a shorter duty cycle? Will it even function or mess with MIG quality?

Could it even be run at 240v/29amp?

To put in a 50amp circuit I'll have to replace my subpanel.
