Travis, I got back from breakfast this morning and looked at this closer with better light.
The bolt looks like it was snapped off in assembly.
I'm not to sure that there is much of a structural issue with the broken bolt, more of a liability issue for you if something were to happen and injure someone.
Let me know, I have plans to use this next week

Travis, I assume there should have been a bolt in this?
There is a slight scar where it looks like there was one, or one was started, but as I started to put the auger together today I had to stop and send you this pic to be sure

I second that thought!
While I agree EA makes great products, I get turned off by anyone telling me to go to Facebook.
