Talk to Travis. Sometimes, NOT always, they may happen to have what you want in stock and ready to go. For me it was the shipping company that really delayed my shipment. No fault of EA or Travis! The shipping Co messed up the ship-to and shipped-from addresses and tried to send it back to EA instead of sending it to me. Because I was on top of things and checking shipment progress I was able to contact the shipping CO and got it changed before it made the 8 hour trip back to EA. Once it arrived at the local terminal it sat in the truck for almost a week because they were backlogged and could not find any help. The folks at the terminal were great to deal with once it came off the truck.Thanks. And again I am not trying to stir up a hornets nest but I have read some places online that their delivery estimates can be rather optimistic. Just was hoping for some feedback from fellow customers. It is totally unrelated to EA or even tractors but I recently made a purchase with a company that took my money and promised 3-4 weeks delivery and it ended up being 11 weeks.

I think I was the victim of auto corrupt. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.![]()
Call Travis 866-581-5818.Can someone with an EA landplane measure the size and thickness of the angle that the cutting edges are mounted to?
Crap! Meant to do that today, forgot. Can someone with an EA landplane measure the size and thickness of the angle that the cutting edges are mounted to?
I have a Wood's 6ft that I bent the leading cutting edge/angle. It is somewhat deserved as it's on a 60hp tractor... The angle the cutting edge is mounted to is only 3 x 5/16, I was thinking about upgrading to a 7ft EA if it is significantly stronger, if not I'll just beef up what I have.Crap! Meant to do that today, forgot.
It's 4" or 5" at least. What be the concern?
EA and heavy-dutiness go together like eggs and bacon or biscuits and gravy or fried chicken with anything or a hot day and a cold beer.
This is the position I was in....work to do and can't wait that long. I rationalized that something like a grapple should sell pretty easily if I felt I was missing out on anything with the cheaper one.....but would then have something to use while I waited. I don't know yet if I'll test that theory.....I'm getting work done. good luck in your search.I finally decided after much research on purchasing a 54 inch wicked root Grapple. When I called everything attachments they told me the delivery date was more than 14 weeks away. With trees to be dropped and work to be done it just sucks that I can’t wait the 14 weekS. So I will probably wind up buying one from a less reputable company for less money and then spending more money in the future.
Rant over. Sorry
