EX3200 float the rake ?

I haven't been able to float the 3pt rake on my new EX3200. Disappointed because I could on the Bolens G274 that it replaced. Nothing in the operator's manual - and the dealer suggested turning the control nob all the way off. Tried that but still no float. This is a pain because the 300' driveway is only flat about half the time. Any suggestions ?

I assume you are talking about it having a little downward/upward give on the 3pt should there be a dip or hump in your driveway? I would have assumed that the arms would float upward, are they just tight being new?

I need considerable give there are lots of bumps and dips. I hadn't thought about the "stiff as new" angle. I'll look into that. T/y
