We keep file folders on every car, truck, tractor, implement, etc. and keep receipts on everything. This is obviously good for warranty issues but, also saves time looking for things like part numbers for items that get re-purchased on a regular basis such as chain saw chains, blades for JD ZTR, filters, and so on. We also log hours/ dates on everything that gets oil changes.
Me, too. The only downside is cleaning out the file cabinet once a year and shredding stuff that's definitely no longer needed.
