EXISTING POST

Muhammad, I tried a reply on a message earlier this evening, and all I got was a message that the post already existed(????) when I clicked on the continue button to load the reply. Now that was a first, but not the last, tried it four times, and finally told myself that the guys needed a break anyway, and cleared it. It never did show up...any ideas on that one?

What were you posting? Which forum? The only time you'll get that message is when there is another post with the exact same text in that forum already - this is to prevent the same posts from being entered in more than once, usually by the same person, at the same time.

Darned if I remember now Muhammad! You know us old guys, memory ain't so good anymore! It was a freshly typed reply, and I doubt if anyone had duplicated my exact wording. No biggy, but puzzling to be sure.
P.S.- Your slow system finally reached the west coast today, loading is as slow as my old 486 used to be!
