I cheat, I use an air chisel, mighty fast and the metal is flat ready to weld/bolt

An air chisel will certainly be faster. I have used a cold chisel and a flat piece of steel under the mesh to cut. Really only have to make a good crease at each joint and then bend it a little to break it open. I did this for my utility trailer and it didn't take all that long.

used a air grinder on the ramp then got the bottles filled and cut the rest with the torch but now i have alot of ideas on how to do it otherways, thanks guys.
