I had a squirrel cage blower that hooked to the front of my Steiner 525. I still have it, have considered building a quick attach to match the Steiner tractors. The biggest problem would be getting the pto up to speed to run the blower at a speed sufficient to make it work correctly. It might work on a 1000 pto tractor better than a 540. It was an optional Steiner original equipment blower.
The Steiner blower rode very close to ground level, and could be directed to the side or by using the flip up 90 degree it would blow to the front. It would clear the parking lot at the Church in two passes.

I don't know if that attachment will work with the original cyclone rake.

It's been an option as long as I can remember, they offer them for the different models, not just the one shown.

There is still hope for him to clean out his culvert then.

I use a Lawn Genie for leaves. If you can use it dry enough it packs a lot of leaves into the hopper.

Googling "Lawn Genie by Matthews Co" will give you an idea. I found mine cheap for $200. I have a 6' 3ph model.
