Bud,
Not a problem. I will post here when they are ready. Please
check with me in about a week also.
Just keep the brackets. I'll send all new stuff with
replacements. Thanks, Rick.

It's GREAT to see someone stand behind their product with their heart, soul, and money. Rick at R&B has earned the right to call me a satisfied customer. Delivered what he said he would, when he said he would, in the condition I expected, with terrific follow-up here on the board to concerns over the product. Now, if he could only do something about those Firestone tires on my Explorer.

Hi Del,
A company named VULCAN Scales makes a bucket scale.
Says it's easy to mount and use. Don't know price.
Their number is 800-237-0022.Rick

Bud and anyone with a #25 indicator.
I should have new bodies for #25 About Monday or tuesday.
New glass tubes should be ready About wednesday or thursday.
I will go through my files to see who has the old style
and send replacements out. However, please email me if you
have one so I don't miss anyone. Thanks for your patience.
No one is more impatient than I am to get this taken care
of. Rick

Rick,

Several weeks ago I was at your website and "almost" ordered a tiltmeter. I mainly mow with my Mighty New Holland TC18 tractor but I do have some slopes that make me say Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! I was thinking that it would be interesting to know what slope I was at once in a while.

With what I've read here, I can't help but scope out the dash/hood area of the TC18 today and see if there's somewhere to mount it or not! You know, when you own one of the "BEST" looking tractors on the market, not to mention all the other "BESTS" of the NH tractors, you want to keep it looking good! I can't guarantee that I will order...but if I do it will definitely be from you due to the AWESOME customer service that you've offered here! If I had one of the faulty meters, I wouldn't have the heart to take half the money back from you!

I teach Marketing and Entrepreneurship Education at the secondary level and you've demonstrated here that you do everything that leads to success! /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Rick,

Regarding my other post of "looking for a place to mount the tiltmeter". Do you have any pictures of your products mounted on tractors? It would be neat if you or your customers here could post pictures of mounted tiltmeters for us "would be" customers to check out.

If it's been done, please direct me to where.

Thanks, JimBinMI

Jim - as I posted above, I bought the 23c because it measure 3 1/2 inches rather than 6 inches in its longest dimension, and I simply peeled of the sticky tape and stuck it on my dash - took 2.3 seconds. Yes it covers over some of the idiot lights (the one that tells me my blinkers are on), but I thought that was a small price to pay. Looks ever so cool too!

JimBinMi,
I have a few pictures, not many. However I am not sure how
to post them. Will try to get my daughter to do so. Hope
your not in too big a hurry. I am fairly new at the
computer use. Have not had time to learn it. Spend alot of
time inventing things. Will tell you guys about my
electric mouse trap if interested. REALLY. Can't afford to
develope it, but it works great. Maybe some of the guys
can post a picture for you. Jack? First time I tried to send
an email a few years ago this thing popped up on the screen
and said I had committed a fatal error. Sat up all night
waiting for someone to come and do me in. (not really).

JimBin,

16 years ago I bought my first computer, a Mac. At that time my idea of a computer was something that NASA used or was on Star Trek movies.

When I first began using it I did something that caused a system error. At the time I was unaware of the Mac designers sense of humor. On the screen was a bomb with the fuse lit. Mild panic, I unplugged it and left the house and called someone! After they stopped giggling I went back and turned it on. Sure seemed scary at the time!

I see they haven't lost their sense of humor. I'm having some sort of hardware problem, sometimes it won't start and the screen stays black with the sound of a car crash!

Remember the early 80s when Nissan and others made some cars with voice warnings? I had a friend who's 200SX I think would sometimes start talking, "Your Door is Open...Your Door is Open...Your Door is Open..."on and on for no reason.

I always wished I could add some stuff...

"Your engine had just been ruined"

"You have proved you are an idiot"

etc.

Or in the case of the tiltmeter, after it goes to 90 degrees,

"You are now in trouble"

Or how about like the "On Star" system in GMs (also known as a mommy for adults)

When you tip the tractor over the Tiltmeter automatically calls the fire department rescue squad!

That's the first time I've heard the "On Star" system called a mommy for adults./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif I like that. My daughter has one in her Tahoe.
