When I started TBN several years ago I was an avid deer hunter thus the name. Since my focus has shifted to turkey hunting and deer hunting is just something to pass time until turkey season. Maybe I should change my user name to turkey12

Ran a manual drilling rig with a brake handle for years. Company men would see me as some young punk and call me 'just a brake weight', or '601' (my area code). I've been using Brake Weight on many forums. Although now I've moved on the the fly by wire rigs, I still prefer the manual ones.

I tried around 18 different names (for some other site) and they were all taken. I hammered out a bunch of random letters in frustration and ended up with "Zxyrthe".

TBN was the very first online community I joined, and because of my pride in owning my tractor, my Username HAD to reflect that, and the "227" has long been part of my email address.

If my username reflected my kids, it would have been: "I'MTHECATSDAD" because we have 5 of them now.
