Mine's simple, too. In spite of folks thinking it's a nickname, I just use my real first name. No imagination or originality at all.

A nickname I got in grade school, (long story..:p) thought I out grew it. But, somehow it keeps surfacing, it also was how my 5 yr old pronounced our last name when he was first able to. So I just gave in!

Years ago, Dad bought a used baby grand piano for $75 and had it moved into the livingroom. He plinked out old blues & jazz on it to drive away his frustrations. He also drove my Mom and us kids out of the house as he wasn't that good & didn't vary his set list much, but he had a grand old time and we all humored him.

My first and only tractor, a Kubota L3240, is the smallest of the Grand Ls; the baby of the line, so it seemed to fit. Besides, it reminds me of my dear old Dad who was a salt of the Earth sort of guy.

Just the result of my being dumb. Didn't quite realize what I was doing when filling in the blanks when I joined. This used to be my internet address and they are my real names.

User name comes from riding bulls along, long time ago as a hobby:laughing: also in minor rodeo leagues and small time events. Also at or in between worked as a bullfighter(not to be mistaken for bullfighters of Spain). As time went by I grew and got a little to heavy(and old) and a rodeoing buddy of mine started teasing me,saying one of these days your gonna "break the bulls".See traditionally bullriders tend to be around 5'-5'10"125 to 160lbs tops. I never made it to bigtime pro leagues(PBR,PRCA). Rodeo type events always was-is my alltime favorite sport.Thats me on right with two of my four sons and a great friend from church on left. The background you see is in our place in FLA(lots of white sand:(). My cousin and I finished a barter deal about the time I originally signed up. I built him a drum sander unit and he built me an outstanding replica of a 1930's Martin guitar. An OM21 with a German Spruce top and Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. It sounds far better than I.

Mine, I live on a hill (road 37) and seems like it's aways windy. Funny, on a normally windy day to us we'll have guests over and they want to spend the entire time indoors. I guess they are afraid they are going to mess their hair!:D

Schwermetall is German for Heavy Metal. Some people use the term Heavy Metal for tractors. I love heavy metal music and Germany so as a soon to be tractor owner I thought the name was just right for me.
