Hmmmm.... working full time and extra shifts, wife, 7 kids, 4 hound dogs, 5 horses, property to maintain... and you can't find time work on this project????:laughing::laughing:
Hang in there Greg - you've already done a lot more on this project than most of us mere mortals could have even hoped to! You'll get back to it in due time.
But the way the wife is talking,

Ummm, yeah.... that's kinda hard on the eyes. Will give the guy some points for creativity, but he lost more than he earned in style. Looks like he tryed driving under a semi trailer backwards, and it shoved only the top forward.
However, it may have a full length frame, that doesn't look much longer than a 15 pass dodge from that era.
As I recall, the Dodge had a shorter wheelbase than the Ford did so it had more overhang stock. I'm pretty sure that van has the stock overhang for 15 passenger Dodge. My 87 Ford van was an extended length by adding 15" to 18" behind the rear axle from the factory. And yes when you did feel the trailer effects when towing. Bad design. The Ford was replaced by a GM extended van. GM extended the wheel base, instead of adding on behind the axle and it handled the same heavy trailer much better. Jon
