Factory incentives

Now that the Supersteer question is pretty much explained, how about a pricing issue.

As I understand it, there was a rebate/incentive on the TC33D's that expired today. Someone posted $1500 and $300 for each implement, yet my local dealer quoted me $850 . However, he did say there was 0% for 48 months. How does somebody get the straight skinny on these unless it's well advertised like the Kubota rebate this summer? My experience pertains to NH, but could pertain to green or orange. I checked the NH web site and there was nothing. Like this one, it doesn't get updated too often.

I was in to visit a new holland dealer in my area last week. He also quoted me $850 rebate on the TC33d. I had to press him to look a little further for the $1500 rebate info. It actually came out after the first of September and was in a follow up memo. I believe I've become a very educated tractor shopper from monitoring the TBN website. The TBN contributors offer a wealth of information and it's greatly appreciated.

As you said, I have gained a lot of information from this site. I actually found out about the $1500.00 rebate before my dealer. Prior to purchasing my TC33d, I contacted 3 other local dealers and asked them questions on price, rebates, and attachments. They all quoted me the same except for price and attachment price. They were sometime $500.00 higher (and that was with the A plan). It paid off to check other dealers because I was able to negotiate the price on my FEL and boxblade. It was a lot of work, but it saved me over $1000.00 in the long run.
