Where do you guys come up with this crap, do you lay awake at night thinking of up controversy?

It is just not right to propagate incorrect information. If you are going to make a claim like the two above, then support your claim or don't say anything.

You tell em! Remember Mayberry? Goomer and Goober could be relied on for information on everything.

I know in the PacNW, the claim is made that all out fuel everywhere comes from one of five refineries we have on Puget Sound. And one of those, US Oils in Tacoma, is jet fuel only

On road and off road fuel are the same product save the dye & tax.

Is the off road ultra low sulfur? I thought I remembered hearing that it was only low sulfur.

First, I don't keep cut open filters to post pictures to those who feel there's some great conspiracy concerning fuel. Second, it matters not to me whether you think it "didn't happen" or not. Third, you are right, I would not take a store clerk's word for much of anything. However, i don't deal with a store clerk. The owner and I have been friends for years. It's a third generation family run store smack dab in the middle of corn and soybean country. They sell more off-road diesel than you could fathom. He knows very well what he is speaking and I know what turns up in the filters. It's not his fault, His tanks are as clean and modern as any. Never said it was the oil company's fault or the distributer. One thing is for certain, there's no great policing force making sure that what you pay for is what you are getting. If there is, please post pictures or "it didn't happen". Have a blessed day.

Just curious who the heck you think you are to make demands?...just how do you know what information is correct or incorrect...?

You take posts for what they're worth to you...contradicting or questioning someones personal opinion or experience is what creates controversy...

If I was one of the contributors that you called out and made demands of....I would tell you to shove it and ignore anything you post from then on...

Most if not all off highway is now ULSD.....

Locomotive, marine and non-road diesel fuel standards begin at later dates. - Clean Diesel Fuel Alliance

Thats good to know as even my 1997 Komatsu Excavator has run better since using ULSD (Highway) Around here the cost of off road vs on road is less than 25 cents, unless you buy thousands of gallons.
