Well, got off the phone with Canada Customs again and Transport Canada and there does not appear to be any problems at all bringing in a tractor. No Duty either. Just the 15% in taxes after the purchase price in converted to Canadian.
That said, going to go low end Rural King ( 20HP, PS and Turf tires ) which should do all I need it to do for this year and the spring ( after I get a couple of attachments for it ).
Hey Tom,
Glad to hear that all is going well.
Try to get the Spring Suspension Seat if you can with it also. The Seat is the most used item on a tractor, but is often overlooked in the purchase.
Also read up on Greg's advice on Flushing and do as he recommends, it may save you a lot of grief. Also get the 2 year warranty, if it is available. A 2 year warranty will help you to sleep better at night and may provide a good safety net, just in case.
Again, glad that things are looking positive for you and wish you all the best with your new tractor.
If you run out of things for your tractor to do up in Canada, we have plenty of work for you and your tractor to do down here on The Gulf Coast. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
Get your tractors running &
Have a nice day,
