Farm UTV's.....Mule or Ranger...or other?

the Mules are very well made, durable and hold resale value better than any other brand. Kubota RTV is heavier duty but expensive and slow. We will never own another Polaris product. We have a Mule FXT 6 seater and are about to get a smaller 610 (I think they call it the XC now)

I owned a Polaris ranger and a mule. I got rid of the ranger after 6 months of owing it. The mule I still have and will not get rid of it is well made compared to Polaris junk.

It makes sense on paper until you try to drive it into a barn or 5 foot paddock in mud or back into and clean a stall out or drive on you're lawn and many other things.

I have an Artic Cat prowler been good UTV those Mules are tough for sure.

Go with the most dependable ATVs/UTVs on the market - Honda Pioneer. Not just typical Honda dependability but also no drive belt to worry about.

Arctic Cat Prowler XT 500 has been an affordable workhorse for us. Bought new as a leftover 14 model for $8500. Big dumpbox is the size of a pallet and sides are removeable. Seats three and geared fast enough for trail riding. Always had atvs for fencing and strapped buckets and sprayer on racks. Now throw everything including chainsaw and brushcutter in bed. Best farming tool since tractor with loader and post hole auger.

I use a Ranger on my farm and it has been trouble free for 3 years. Never even drove anything else but I have no desire to trade because I’m happy.

I really wanted a Can-Am Defender but back issues prevented me from owning one. I ended up with a RZR 1000S, which is less utility, and way more sport, but it works fine for hauling around boats and an aluminum trailer I have in low gear.

And it is a hoot to play with.
