When I was a boy my dad took the head off his h and had it redone at an automotive machine shop. Nothing special or expensive. he also had it milled a little to make it flat but looking back the shop just felt like eeking a bit more out of him. You don't need to replace anything else if the tractor was running well and having good compression. Dad had the head redone on his H and didn't touch anything below the head gasket. That was 35 years ago and it still runs like a sewing machine. It takes allot of hours to wear out the lower half. in an ancient vintage tractor maybe a minimum of 3k hours. No telling when your motor was last redone-They ALL have been rebuilt, likely many times. it may have 500 hours on it or 5,000 on those components.
