I have been led to believe that yougurt might be safe for us lactose intolerant people but if its made from milk I take my pills. The penalty for failure is pretty unpleasent... The pill is easy. Lack of pill is bad. Real Bad.

You don't want details.

In my early/mid 20's I was just figuring out the eat milk products then get sick connection. At the time for some reason eating foods heavy in fat/oil/fried would get me sick but I also had not made the connection between eat fat get sick.
I went out to The Melting Pot, which is a fondue place. Well every thing is loaded with milk products or fried. I pigged out. I liked to have died.

It was a good 30 minute trip back home. Down 441 which was built with concrete. So it had expansion joints that seemd to be every inch, well maybe half inch. Oh yeah I was in a Z28 which is just a wee bit passed tightly sprung. It was a very long, bumpy, ugly ride home. Then I lived in a second floor apartment. Up long stairs. And that night parking was tight so I had to park away from the building. Seemed like the building was miles away and and 1000 floor talls with my place on top of the building.
I wanted to run. But running was not going to happen. Or if running did happen so would something else. I wanted to walk. But walking was not fast enough. But if I did not move quick something else was going to happen. And I was not wearing a diaper....
So I guess I walked/ran. A lope. Stairs bad, real bad. Can't really lope up stairs.

Lordy it took forever to unlock the door!
I did make it into the apartment. I'll leave what happened next undisclosed.
Thus you see why I don't experiment with dairy. I just take my pills with milk products and leave well enough alone.

Yougurt maybe fine but I ain't try'n!
Later,
Dan
