Farmtrac 270, 5040 loader, R-4 ind tires, rears tubed and filled with calcium, R-1 ag tires for spring and fall, King Kutter 5ft box scraper, King Kutter 6 ft backblade, King Kutter 6 ft landscape rake, Howse 8 ft backblade, Homemade 900 lb concrete 3pt counter weight, Homemade grapple for loader bucket, Rear work lights added, 118 hrs of severe abuse, have not destroyed anything major yet. At delivery, hazards did not work, Had defective flasher relay, 10 hours, seat mounting bolts fell out while plowing my driveway, found them, reinstalled and added loctite. RT. RR. tire had air leak through sidewall, replaced under warranty by Titan dist. O ring at return to hyd pump leaking, 40 hrs, replaced myself. 70 hrs, neutral safety switch goes out, bypassed temp., dealer sent new one , owner replaced, 90 hrs, loader mounting bolts wont stay tight, Removed bolts, found them to be stretched, I replaced them with high quality grd. 8 bolts, added 271 loctite and tightened with impact wrench, problem solved. Over all, satisfied with tractor, dealer prep left much to be desired, however he is good about warranty issues and will often send me the part I need, and I send him the defective one back{ I am a fleet mech. by trade}, which helps alot because he is 70 mi away. this tractor has been used very hard, and maintained very well, I have used it in ways that it was never designed for, and when I use it I ask alot of it most times, and most times it delivers, You cant ask for more than that. Farmtrac 270DTC, bought few months ago. 5040 Loader, Howze 60" Cutter, 60" homemade boxblade, 5' Scrapper Blade and more. Have about 29 hrs now. Spent 2 day last week mowing 15Acres of head tall grass. First cut of the year in East Texas. Ran like a champ, though I did have to run in Low 4th gear most of the time. Love it! Would buy another Farmtrac in a heartbeat.:D

Bought a 300DTC w/5145 Loader first of the year. Have about 35 hrs on it.
busted a pin on the steering cylinder arm right off the bat, but other than that, no issues. Good hard working machine.

Currently customizing the box blade with a GN & FW hitch attachment.

The Howse mower that I got with it........well that's a different story!:(

It wasnt too bad, anyone with basic welding skills, along with lots of imagination and some patients could do it. Check out my post low buck grapple build in the cusomization forum for details of the build

Well, I don't really have those characteristics...yet...and I may never. So I ended up buying a RBG60 Long root grapple and am having the tractor place put in the extra hydralics.

I have way to much learning (I've never welded or had a tractor) to do before I could ever do anything like that. I did buy a used stick welder so I will be trying to put down some beads on scrap metal before too long.

But the grapple is what I need most right now to get many, many trees moved. So I talked myself into forking out the extra dough.

Curly, you wont regret purchasing the grapple. However , you are ruined now, your first grapple is like your first car with A/C and power windows, once you get a taste of it , you can never go back LOL.

300DTC here. Galvanized Modern brushhog and box blade, black iron Modern standard blade, 5145 FEL. R8 Tires

Man this things a beast, about 70 hours so far, mostly road building. About 5 hours brush hoggin id say, mostly last week. I was cutting a field for my aunt that hasnt been cleaned since after hurricane Rita. Was runnin along keeping the bucket down low because i couldnt see what was in front of me. Good thing because i found a trampoline. Tried to flip over the trampoline with the front bucket and lifted the rear of the tractor about a foot off the ground. Brushog and all was up in the air. Man ya gotta be careful with these things. Im learnin, its just a slow process.
