I've heard of guys welding them on. It seems like a little bit of a chore. I have even sharpened them myself and they certainly cut better than a dull blade but the guy I send them too does a much better job than I can. They are very sharp, and very fast, and not that expensive. Just have to get over the initial cost to buy a bulk pack of original blades.
