The rear window will open enough to move the blower chute . You will find this to still suck though if you need to change it a lot. I converted mine over to electric.

Thanks for the info mpham.

I had given the thought of either electric or hydraulic already. Don't know which is better or cheaper.

If I go Hydraulic, I guess I would need a hydraulic set-up n the rear, which may be useful for other things as well.

Hope this helps.

mpham

Yes, that helps me a LOT !

I had no clue the rear glass could open up that much.

Plenty of room to reach out and adjust the chute manually..... but as you mentioned it will let out all my warm air.

Thanks again.

Hi Rock Crawler.

That's a really good suggestion about the cutting bar. I also wanted to get a "Tooth Bar". Does Piranha make a tooth bar as well?
I'm happy with mine. Works decent for grabbing brush. Works good for breaking up dirt when "digging", not that a loader can dig well. Protects the bucket edge really well & doesnt interfere with back dragging much. 20161207_104352.jpeg

OP,

I have NEVER bent a bucket cutting edge in my life, installing a tooth bar is not a necessity for you're new bucket, they are useful for some applications but if you don't need one you wont bend you're bucket unless Kubota is building some pretty cheesy buckets these days which I doubt..

I beg to strongly differ since I can bend themin a few days doing my concrete work... but whatever. You win.

I just buy a much thicker cutting edge and weld it to the bottom of the original. I also weld old oilfield pipe, about 2 1/2 inch or so, to the top of the bucket. Takes a flimsy bucket and turns it into a monster bucket you’ll play heck tweaking.

I bought a Tooth bar for the bucket on my B2150 and it works wonders when pulling up tree stumps. It grabs the roots fairly well..... certainly something a plain bucket edge can't do.

And I have a LOT of rock on my property so it helps when doing any sort of digging.

The other little addition I had the dealer do, was weld on a couple of small chain "Hooks".

An absolute necessity when I have that piece if equipment or item I need to lift to move.

I can wrap or connect a chain to my generator and secure the link(s) to the hooks and lift away.

So easy.

What did I win? A chicken dinner.. If you bend them in a few days you might want to buy a machine that's made for whatever you are doing with concrete.. What are you doing that bends a CUT bucket in a few days?

My point to the OP was is that MOST people don't bend a SCUT, CUT tractor bucket in a few days..

Moving material, the reason I bought the tractor. It does a great job of dealing with 8 to 15 dump trucks if concrete/asphalt per day, six days a week. But while the tractor is fine for the job, the bucket absolutely will bow down in the center, especially if you crank the pressure up top extract the work out of her. I bought mine to work, and I'll work it until it breaks in half and then I'll bury it with the next tractor.
