FEL bucket not staying in place

I think it's handy to be able to choose whether to float in dump position. Now I know how to do it intentionally or circumvent it when I want to. Thanks!

I have a 1620 and when I use my snowblower I hace to change the spool in my vavle controler to get my snow shoot to rotate both ways. In the spring I have to replace the spool again or my bucket will flip up when I back blade with it until I power it down. This mainly occurs after I have dumped my bucket. The spool I put in for winter is a recirculation spool.

I had the same problem on a 1738 loader. Dealer said it was a defect and put a tiny inline reducer, i guess you would call it, to reduce the amount of flow. I will say it did nothing except use my gas and a day of bringing the tractor in for service. I have a more detailed post here about it probally about a year ago. if i find it i'll link to it.
