Hi,
I am new to tractor by, i have been plowing this winter with my B7800's FEL and it is pretty hard. I was wondering if anyone knew of any FEL plow's?

I'm new too but I know from other forums that if you do a search you can probably find many threads on this subject already. Welcome aboard!!

Most make their own. Do a search for FEL plows. They are quite pricey to buy a pre-built one.

It depends on how deep the snow is. A FEL bucket can be very useful to remove deep snow. In light snow you can just use angles to push the snow over to the edge easily. A FEL blade would have to be large and preferrably be able to tilt to one side or the other, even then it sometimes steers the tractor to one side or the other. I don't have a lip on my bucket and it still does fine, no dig in, I don't have a mile to do, just a couple hundred feet.

I have a Curtis snow blade that works very well and is quick and easy to attach.

This is the way I did it. Don't use anything bigger than a 6 foot plow. This one is working out great. You will need a decent counter wt. for Ballast.

I also made my own the plow is actually under the FEL, the FEL is used to PU and drop. I have one release shaft and a chain that hooks to the FEL. I can have it on or off in a minute or 2. I had something similar to timbers, and it worked okay. I just didn't like the blade sticking out so far.

This is what I built for my BX. The loader does the lifting and the bucket hydralics work the swing. I also didn't want it stuck out to far. Takes about 5 minutes to put it on the tractor. I see that your in Western CT as am I so if you want to take a look in person let me know.

They sell for near 2k...but you will still need to add hydraulics...

I started out with an old 7' Fisher that I got for free pinned in the bucket of my TC30. I used it for two seasons and it worked ok, I stripped off what I could to make it lighter and it was manual angle. But like stated in an earlier post I needed a lot of weight on the back to balance it off.

I found a good deal in a 61/2' Curtis set-up with hydraulic angle while still maintaining my up down/float and curl functions. I love it. It works great. If you don't have the skills or time to fab up something this is a great way to go. They are pricey new, but can be found used. I got the OK from thw wife to get a Curtis salt spreader with a 3pt hitch mount adapter. Another awesome set-up. No more pushing the fertilizer spreader up and down the 350' hill.

Funny how things work, I got the tractor 8 years ago and thought I was in heaven with the loader to clear the snow. What more could I want except the rear blade that was the best, what could be better? Except maybe a plow up front. That was the ultimate, can't top that, except......

Then after the front plow comes the wing plow....and life goes on.

I wouldn't want less than the 7' plow for moving snow. Less would mean snow dropping off the angled blade and under the rear wheels. I have a 5' width outside the rear wheels.

On my curved drive, I wanted the plow to be as close to the front of the tractor as possible, so didn't mount it on the FEL. Even now, with 7' blade, it is not the best when plowing the inside of the curve.
