Yes, the walk around video and better hose labelling is a good idea. I have traced the hoses from the valve ports to their respective cylinder connections and rechecked them. The joystick
movement and response of the boom and bucket should also indicate if the connections are wrong. I don't believe that I need to know to much about hydraulics (and I don't) to connect
a hose from a port to a connector. The loader lift performance from the valve curl port was pretty defining to me. There may be some subtleties in the design of the lift spool behavior that differ from
the that of the curl or dump, but at least it says that the cylinders are good and the downstream hose plumbing is clear of blockage and enough pressure can be produced to lift the loader.
I talked with a Brand engineer this morning about the lift problem and what had been done and the results. He thinks the lift spool could have a leakage problem, but suggested that I crank the
relief pressure up another 200 psi and try to lift. I did, but to no avail. The lift performance is the same.
