FILL IN GROUNDHOG TUNNEL

Is your driveway concrete or asphalt? Sounds like it might be concrete.

How wide is it?

Get a hose down as far as you can then pump some fillcrete in.

fillcrete; AKA 'flowable fill' or 'controlled low strength material' (CLSM); might do the trick. It is used some times on excavations where multiple commodities are uncovered and it is impossible to compact fill around them without the risk of doing damage.

Here's one recipe;

Mix cement, sand and water in the following proportions to yield one (1) cubic yard of mixture:

Portland Cement - 188 lbs.
Sand - 3,010 lbs.
Water - 46.2 gal.

i have done it a couple times. to get in some tight areas when insulating house and sheds. that is. taking some aquarium hose tubing. and placed it on end of a can spray foam nozzle/tip (great stuff red can = *closed cell foam*). if you could some how get a stiff wire, that you could some what bend, and duct tape end of wire to some hose. you might be able to spray foam the hole up.

you might want to rig up some sort of pipe/hose, with air compressor, and set regulator to say 20 PSI. and plow the hole out. to get fresh air into the hole. so spray foam has a better chance of actually foaming up. when you spray, vs remaining in a liquid form.

if you have extra wire and some extra hose. you might try running 3 or 4 hoses into hole. so you can spray a couple cans in, let it set overnight, then use another hose (hopefully not plugged) and spray a couple more cans in. and repeat with other hoses, waiting 24's in between. waiting 24 hours = initial cure time. and perhaps taking less foam to fill the hole up.

once all done with spray foam. let it fully cure, then cut wire and aquairum hose out, use a steak knife (from kitchen) or like, and a razor blade, to trim excess foam off side of drive way. and then put some dirt over the area. to hide any use of spray foam.

I would get a good pellet rifle or either some hart traps to do away with the ground hogs. Then I would fix the driveway.

Yet to see a pellet rifle that had enough power to humanely kill a groundhog....

you get some of those 22cal pellet rifles they shoot past 1000fps. They will easily kill a groundhog. Still a 22 rifle will be easier with longer distances.

I think I would try mixing up some sackcrete in a real wet, runny mix, pour it into the hole and use a broom handle or something similar to force it into the hole.

never tried it but would a insulation machine with the air lock, blow in a sand cement mix and then slowly remove the hose, (most likely need a short hose,

about the only other thing I could think of is a grout pump, Grout Pump With Steel Base i would think it have a very runny mix,

would a presurxed sand blaser tank pump in a slury , years ago I made a dry texture macnine that used a presureized tank to move dry wall mud texture down a hose to a blow gun, the mud was very loose,

We used to blow sand into watermain casings using just an open hose on a large air compressor. You can rent them at most rental stores and for some reason I am thinking they are rate 185 CFS or greater. Start piling dry sand then work the open hose into the sand forcing it back into the hole. I would think you could blow it in 10 feet or so. A concrete slurry "Kcrete" could also work but much more expensive although they wouldn't be digging through it.
