Well, c'mon out. You can pay your own way if you want to see it so bad.

What ASE credential am I missing to be able to compare black oil versus oil that isn't black? The one that requires you to not be blind?

7500 mile diesel oil that isnt black---yes I'd harbor to say it's pure barstool folklore. Maybe though you are "the one person on the planet" and should be considered one of the natural wonders of the world. Call a fleet shop and query a manager- I think they would agree.

Well, if you would 'harbor to say it's pure barstool folklore' then that's your perogative. However, if you do, it will be untrue. Maybe that doesn't bother you.

I don't need to call a fleet shop or query a manager--all I have to do is go pull the dipstick, which I've done--the oil is NOT black.

How you can tell from 1500 miles away what color my oil is puzzling, but whether you choose to believe what I've stated as fact is irrelevant to me. However, I really do not appreciate the insinuation that I either don't know the color of the oil in my own truck or that I would, for some unknown reason, lie about this.

edit 2: I tried to attach a 325K photo, but apparently it is too large. If anyone is interested, PM me and I will send you the photo. BTW, the oil is closer to 10K now than the 7500 mentioned earlier and it can clearly be seen that it is NOT black.
edit3: Never mind the PM. I uploaded it at Photobucket. If you look close, you can see the cross-hatching of the dipstick....thru the "black" oil.
