Looks a lot like my B3300su with the bigger tires. You should also get more ground clearance.

Congrats on the new unit. I noticed it has a side step to get on. Was that on the unit or a option. I am thinking it would make it easier to get on and off. Anyone have a part number for this steps? Would like one for the B2920 I have. Al

I sat on one this weekend, and those steps are real flimsy.

Looks almost like an "L" instead of a "B"! Curious about the wheels and tires- I know Kubota has a "build you own" or something like that on their website, but you really did! And, the step on our L3400 isn't flimsy, but then, I weigh 165 or so, maybe that's why? Anyway, looks very nice, and useful!

Yes, ya beat me to it. Not worth the effort as they tend to flex the otherwise nice floor board quite a bit. I think an aftermarket step should be looked into making and selling. With the over size tires, the step is a nice option, just not the factory ones. Otherwise, so far, that's about the only weakness IMO.

The L has that step no matter what, right? I think the L series step was engineered into it at the factory. This B step for large tire option, appears to be more of a "whoops, now we need a step quick" sort of deal. I think a brace or two can be looked at, but otherwise it pulls the floorboard down until it rests on something. Not far, but it does make it appear cheap. I'll see if I can get some pics and show what it does.

On all the Kubotas I have owned, the floor is mounted on rubber bushings to reduce vibrations, and that means it will flex a little when you climb aboard. Same deal with the L and the standard step. Nothing is wrong. I have seem some people here (one was a 300# guy) complain that the floor is flimsy, but I think they are not understanding that it's not attached rigidly and is floating on rubber. The same people would likely complain of foot numbness if the floor was welded in rigid.

I remember asking about getting the oversized tires when looking at the 2650 -- it's just the large tire option from the 3350 -- and was told it's possible but not recommended since it increases the effective final gear ratio and puts less torque down to the ground. I never did the math to see how much of a difference it would make. Since these light tractors are traction limited, I can't see that it would matter too much. But anyway, that is the reason Kubota offers the option on the 3350 but not on the 2650 on their "build my Kubota" website.

BTW -- new tractor looks great!
