First 15 hours

Just finished putting the first 15 hours on my B 7500 all systems working perfectly,have used it mostly for mowing and some very heavy bush hogging, the tractor didn't even grunt cutting through wild grass and shurbs up to the nose of the tractor, lack of position control has not been an issue, any suggestions on a good rear blade and what would be a good price. Wife says I never looked happier mowing grass!!

Sounds like your first 15 hours have gone well - the silly grin sounds normal too/w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif.

I've been looking into rear blades too and I'll probably be getting one in the Fall. I'd guess you would want a 5' or a 6' wide blade. For our size tractors it seems like most blades weigh in at about 250-275 lb and have a 14" high moldboard, with the ability to angle and offset. Some have the tilt option while others don't. Woods, LandPride, etc. make blades like this and I think they sell for in the neighborhood of $300 - $400. Another option is Monroe Tufline (http://www.monroetufline.com). They make a blade that runs about 100 lb heavier (thicker and taller moldboard), and I have read nothing but good comments about them. They were very quick to send information out too.

BTW, how did you end up making out with that top link adjustment on your Woods mower?

You were correct on the top link I did not adjust the screw to tighten or hold the link where I positioned it since then I have had no problems.
