The Case system is spooky the first couple times you use it. Also has a secret handshake
sort of technique to it... I do like the way it loads the tractor somewhat. Of course the
front of my 2wd is so light steering over rough ground is just making suggestions...

the hydraulic lock is an option. When I bought my machine, the two units on the lot with them were both pissing oil, so I was kind of happy to get the regular one. But I had to build it up with some extra plate to stop the boom from slapping back and forth on the road.

I'm doing the buckets the old, manual way. It's not too bad, but I'd love a manual quick coupler
I have a really nice spring loaded pin grabber on mine. They all had them at the dealership at the time, but I see now they have gone to the archaic wedge style(I'll never understand their popularity) and the excavator style bucket. I have the old style ford buckets and I love them.

I'm looking into some kind of coupler. Might ask for suggestions on heavy equip websites. I'm addicted to changing buckets..... now that I have 5.

The hydraulic hoses for a hydraulic hitch on an Extenda hoe would be a work of art .

Mine had the manual spring hitch , it was great . In OZ , you must have a safety pin on a hydraulic hitch , which means you must get off the machine anyway .

I would feel silly using something different even if it is better" Same goes for the bucket design. Having used both, I love the old Ford style buckets that I have. They dig nicer, they have a longer bottom for tamping, and more of the material sits outside the bucket, so it dumps sticky materials nicer. But they look funny, so no one will buy them. Now all the NH's come with wedges and excavator style buckets.

I've been using it to move large piles of snow. We've gotten 48" of snow in the last 4 days....

I've had a few glitches-bad ground cable gave me fits till I finally found it. Other than that, it's a BEAST!

I bet that thing can really move allot of snow!! Nice and warm in that cab, you're probably having a great time.

It really can move the white stuff. Both the front & rear axles are limited slip and have ~20" of ground clearance. Really helps, but 30+ in of snow is tough for anything except a snoblower.
