First Impressions of new Kubota B2650 with Cab.

If you guys don't mind me asking what have you all paid for it. I just started a new thread about the new 2650. I really didn't know they had a New 2650 out. How is running the loader as far as having your arm on the armrest. I had been leaning towards the LS but now this has sparked my interest again. As some here know I've been looking and contemplating and reason why i haven't pulled the trigger is in that thread so i won't bore you with it if you have already read that thread

thanks

Mine, with loader and Landpride forks, rear remotes and a block heater came to $29,164

I didn't dicker, if you wanted to take the time to play the game you might shave a few hundred off that.

I do in fact run the loader with my arm laying on the right arm rest. I find it very handy and the joystick is a HUGE improvement over the two-lever setup I had on my old John Deere.

I usually leave the left one folded up, altho I did use it the day I spent 4 hours running the bush hog.

Hi Paul very nice looking tractor. Have a question for you do you have any problem Bushhog with the lower Horsepower and PTO? I have a L3901 and I'm thinking of trading I don't like the DFF system on it it had to take to shop to reset it, talking to Dealer now about the B2650 Cab, I like the AC for the summer and the Heat for the Winter. I also have a Ford 8N so when the Kubota was in the shop had to go back to it. I don't like the EPA stuff to many problems, should have purchase one before they put it on them, here they kept it a secret didn't know until this year they were coming out that what you get for talking to just one Dealer. One more thing those or Agriculture tires right on your B2650, that what I need when I buy my B2650, I'm trying to work the deal this week a trade on my new tractor for the new B2650 Cab, if I know what I know now I would have done that earlier this year, now spending and losing the same time....BJ

I have run a 5' bush hog with ~20hp tractors (a JD750 and now the Kubota) for nearly 30 years and never had a problem. Slower, sure, but on the ground I mow, you couldn't stay in the seat at faster speeds anyway. This is in grass/weeds 3 feet high in a lot of cases, plus acres of woody brush and in extreme cases even 2" poplar and alders. Granted, the big stuff means VERY slow, but it still got done.

I've also lost track of how many times I've been told I can't run that big a mower with that little tractor. Someone is terribly confused, and it ain't me.

Yup, R1/Ag tires. Way better in mud and snow and as long as I don't try to turn on a dime or mow when it's too wet, little to no turf damage. Of course, I don't mow my lawn with it either. I've had some experience with R4 tires on other tractors and I'm not impressed.

I run a 6 ft tiller on my L3400. I think the recommended tiller is 54 inches. I have tilled up some pretty hard clay here, the only time the slip clutch worked was when I got a buried log in it. The hydro tranny lets me run slow enough to get it done. I run a 5 ft bush hog on the same tractor, ate a cinder block one day. I did break a shear pin that time.
