At about 3:00pm on Jan 1 2009 Brokermike took delivery of his new DK40SE hydro.
Thanks for the business Mike and may you have many hours of fun.

By the way Mike, Amy and I got a kick out of your mini log skidder(Rubert)
You have to post a picture for everyone to see.

Congratulations to both Rick and Broker!!

Welcome to the pack and post pictures, particularly of Rubert.

And yes Broker, we've all got the same question you must've come away with.

None of us have any idea what a gal like Amy is doing with a guy like Rick...??? :)

Wishing you many happy, safe and productive hours of seat time.

Sincerely,
Joel

Well I'm pretty **** excited to be honest. I only wish the temp had cracked 5 degrees so I could have played/worked more. Thankfully the weekend is only a day away. I don't have any pictures of my new Kioti uploaded yet but This is a picture of Rupert, my mini log skidder

Great purchase. I've loved my DK40se since the day Rick delivered it. Fabulous machine and tremendous bang (and lift) for the buck.

Ya but it's true:p

Thanks for coming to my rescue Rick!

PS> My box blade worked out perfect, not only great rock harvester, but great grader blade when pushed backwards.

Glad I went with the woods, will last my and the mini-bosses lifetimes.

Hope you have a prosperous 2009!!

Joel

Congrats, BrokerMike!! You have a very nice unit in the DK40....but.....do you Got Grapple?? Ever since IslandTractor wore that shirt to the barbeque last summer, it's occupying my thoughts way too much. A grapple would significantly streamline some of my tractor chores, such as log sorting/staging/cutting and trail clearing/maintenance. I sure wish it said, "Got Flail" because I really NEED one of those to mow ~14 acres of unused pasture, because I recently sold my Jinma with the rotary cutter. What are your intended primary uses of the tractor? What implements/attachments did you get? Do tell!

BTW - Rupert the Mini Log Skidder looks like he has some serious low-end grunt, and a well-positioned center of gravity. I bet he's great on steep slopes.....:D

Oh...and congrats, Rick. Took you a whole day to make the first 2009 sale......were you in on the stimulus package?

What does rupert run on? I bet he works for table scraps.

One handsome (tongue in cheek) skidder.

I think we may have found a TBN maskot or at least a clone of Rick (couldn't help myself). :)

At least with Rupert around there is one TBNer I'm taller than.

I'm thinking Rupert has got to make a showing at next year's cookout.
