First pair of bibs!

Me nether, dress up, that is. Used to have French Cuff shirts, tie bars, handkerchief for pocket, tailor made suits, and military uniform. Now I have one suit for funeral goings and my burial.

I own about 6 pairs of Carhart bibs. Most are uninsulated but one pair is. I wear them over my pants and only wear them during the winter. Most of mine are pretty old and about ready to be thrown out but I keep a good set for my work.

Remember, a straw hat for summer and the fur hat for winter!

One can also leave one suspender off and dangling Down the back.

I would refer coveralls. Wore them for many a year.

Note: some body shapes are not conducive to wearing a belt.

It seems there are two types of overalls bieng discussed here....

overalls, like farmers, train engineers, etc... wear
and
outerwear, like winter wear, etc...

Insulated bib outerwear? Yes, but only in the coldest weather. Farmer/engineer type overalls? Not on your life! I like being able to reach my thick leather Carhartt "utility belt". Bibs are not conducive to hanging all the stuff I like to carry around with me. Besides, I just can't shake the image of Jr. Samples whenever I think bibs.

I'm wearing Liberty bibs from TSC. (Belted pants n longer work for me.) I keep my Gerber multi-tool in the right hand smaller pocket just above knee level. It stays in place nicely and is only slightly inconvenient to grab.

I like bib overalls myself, I'm also a recent suspender wearer, bought two pairs and love them. I'm not much of a belt guy, wear them as needed.

I can't wear a belt as it pinches a nerve to my left leg. Therefore, I either wear bib overalls or suspenders when working in the woods. I like both.
