Welcome to TBN.I have a 54 inch fine cut deck on my BX2360 and am happy with it.I chose the 54,rather than 60,because my yard is not real level and I figured the 54 wouldn't dig in as much.Obviously the 60 will mow faster but the 54 seems to get the job done all right.I had a 54 inch regular cut deck on my BX25,when I had it,and was happy with the cut it gave as well.Honestly,I can't see much difference in the quality of the cut between them.One thing the regular cut deck has is a double wide belt which would probably last longer than the single width belt on the fine cut deck.As far as trimming around objects the 54 inch deck is wider than the BX and easily trims as close to objects as you would want.

Welcome neighbor I second the choice of Norfolk power as a great dealer and the one off 495 in Middleboro should be a easy ride for you. I do not mow with my bx2360 as my wife likes to cut the lawn with a hand mower and who am I to argue with her. But we would not be able to maintain our new house and property (22acers) with out the Fel,back blade,TSC 48" brush mower, I keep the 700' driveway cleared with the back blade and the Fel . We have a quohog shell drive and it was tough the first year till I learned to put a 1 1/2" plastic pipe on the edge of both the blade and the Fel. Now I just put the Fel in float and the blade down and it works great. By the way we are over in Fairhaven near the ocean in the woods.
