One suggestion for the hydrants, from experience. I would sink a treated 4x4 beside them and strap clamp the hydrants to the posts. They have a much better chance of surviving a collision whether it be the tractor or wheelbarrow. Even an impact small enough to slightly move the hydrant will in some cases be enough to crack a pvc fitting and since they are live lines end up in a leak. A big enough impact would mean gyser time! Another idea might be a cut off upstream of the hydrants in case of a break, that way you would only loose the hydrants and not the whole system if you had to shut it down for repairs.
