Hi Jim,
If you cant get those bolts tightened up with some help, and cant get them off /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif, your going to have to cut them off ! Then install new bolts and locknuts. If that condition remains like that the gearbox will be damaged, elongated holes or cracked casting /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I know Scotty. What I was saying is I do not have wrenches big enough to do the job. I guess I will have to load it up and take it to someone that has the proper tools to fix this problem. I hope it hasn't done very much damage. I haven't used it but very little since I found it. I have no ideal how long it has been loose. I don't think it has been long though.

Ok Guys... I found an Antique Truck today and purchased it. It was made November or 1975... making it a 1976 Chevy Custom 10 Shortbed Pickup. 350 V-8 with AC and automatic transmission. Here is a couple of pictures I took tonight to show you. I will take more in the daylight tomorrow.

Do I hear an offer?

Jim

This is the other side. I will take pictures of all of it tomorrow. For it to be 30 years old... It's in Great Shape and runs very good. It has new tires and all the chrome, center caps and beauty rims are in good shape. It has all body chrome in good condition and it has dual exhaust as well.

Just don't take it out on salty roads. Those models had a tendency to rust out from under you.

Has A/c been converted to the new fluids?

( My Hole King Post Hole Digger I purchased a week or so ago. I need to build a stand for it to make it easier to put on and take off. Has anyone done this? Could be another little project for me.

Jim,
Do you have a low hanging branch on a tree to hang it from? I put a chain around the tube by the gear box and hang it from there. It's almost impossible to hook mine up by my self if it's on the ground.
