Do any of you want to see the trailer when I first got it before I painted it and Put the DOT Reflector Tape and installed the extra lights. The extra lights include marker lights and two extra sets of brake, turn and tail lights positioned to assure excellent visibility day or night.

This trailer has a 22 ft 2 in flatbed and is a break down drive on trailer. It is 102 inches wide as well. It has 6 ft 8 inches between the fender wells which also are reinforced to allow driving on. The trailer is rated at 12,000 lbs. This will allow carrying large equipment if needed. Like upgrading to a larger tractor if I choose to. I'm not sure of the value of a trailer like this... any suggestions or quote on the value?

It has a floating axle... the two wheels on each side is connected to a large heavy frame that has a single axle and the wheels follow the contour of the road very good. I will take some pictures to show how it is set up as soon as the weather dries up some.

It has electric brakes on each wheel and they work very good. I can actually stop the truck and trailer with the manual brake control of the trailer brakes that is installed in my truck. I will be doing the general maintenance on the brake system soon and the general maintenance on bearings.

The trailer was manufactured by Bee Trailers. Seems to be a very well built trailer. I will get more from the manufacture plate when I take more pictures. It would be nice to know the value of this trailer and if they still make parts for it. If I remember correctly it was manufactured in 1986. Do any of you know anyone that has a trailer like this or have one yourself?

Have a Great Day. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Ok here is four pics of me unloading tractor from my break down trailer. It's real simple to load and unload tractor. No Ramps to mess with.

Ok Guys... I have plowed and gotten the Garden ready for the food program. Thanks to Parks Seeds in Greenwood, SC... we have a lot to start with. We will be needing the Red Potatoes and some other things.

But for now we have corn, okra, tomatoes, eggplant, zuchinni, cucumbers, cantelope, strawberrys, squash, pumpkin, winter squash, basil, oregano, watermelon, peas, pole beans, broccolli, cabbage, lettuce, cauliflower, carrots & herbs, just to name a few things. I just went over the bulk of it but unfortunately I do not remember all of the different things.

I have my work cut out for me but the soil is in good shape and the garden is in good shape.

By the way, we got approved for the irrigation system and I have all but $100.00 to have well drilled, pump installed, and the complete irrigation system installed. It was a total of approx. $15,000.00. There is one more thing holding up the installation and that is a permit from the state that will be $75.00 and 48 hours after I get the all the money up. Not to shabby for a winters work in raising money huh? :)

I just wanted to update you on what has been going on. By the way... my Shibaura is what I did all the plowing with this time. I think it was bad to start with... It works like the new tractor I had borrowed like it should now.

Have a Great Day.

Jim, what's the address for your non-profit group? Can you take pay-pal or ? I'll pony up the $100 that you're short. Maybe we can start a trend here to help out with your other costs like diesel fuel and......

Western Union is the most secure way I know of sending money. There is too much controversy with PayPal in my book.

You did bring up a point of interest. The fuel cost of Diesel is $2.99 a gallon for off road here. Fortunately my little tractor only uses about 1.5 to 2 gallons an hour depending on what you are doing.

Fertilizer and the starter flats are expensive as well.

I am trying to get the electric company to donate some telephone poles so I can build a greenhouse and small shed for my tractor. Time will tell on the poles.

Thank you for your support and donations. I will do my best to make every seed, every penny and every pray count to the fullest.

I was going to plant today but early this morning some severe thunder storms moved through our area and they were threats of tornados until 11 am this morning. It was a litle scary with the wind and the hail that fell for over an hour. The good thing is that we did not have any errosion in the garden. I guess I have gotten the area set up pretty good.

If any of you would like to talk with me... send me a private message and I will send you my phone number. The moderators have frowned upon me putting it on the messages. I understand because of the security risk.

Thank you again. Have a wonderful day.

Hello my friend,

I have been a very busy bee this winter. Playing catch up and other things. The panning and executing the garden has taken a lot of time as well. Seems like doing this is keeping me young... atleast I get excited about getting it done. :) /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

As soon as I get the irrigation system in... the dragging the approximately 700 feet of garden hose will be a thing of the past. This will allow me to have more energy for other productive tasks. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

By the way... my website has grown over the winter as well. www.jimbonham.com - you may want to take another look. I have nearly 200 pages counting all. We also have a very reputable company financing now and they do financing for investors as well.

I just talked with the electric company... they are going to help with some poles as soon as they get some in. This will help in the construction cost of the greenhouse and the small tractor shed.

I must get back to work. I still have to pay the bills around here and finish paying for that trailer I got to haul tractor.

Each of you here at TBN have a Great Day. Thanks for all your prayers and support.

Egon... keep in touch more often. My email is bsm357@aol.com
