Fitting leaks during storage

The bottom fitting to my bucket strated to leak after only 90 hrs on my MF1540. But it doesnt leak when operating. Only after it has cooled down.
about 1/2 cup on the ground in 2 days. could someone explain why it leaks at all, and why not when the bucket is being used or the tractor is running? Thanks.

It appears that pressure is putting enough force on the fitting/threads to give a better seal. You may have to replace both parts of the fitting. or seal it up better, maybe tighten it up some more.
