These little lights must really be selling. I got an e-mail from TinyDeal.com regarding my second flashlight order. It's pretty much written in english:

So, I hope I get it eventually. What's a few more days when it takes 4 weeks to get it even when they DO have it in stock.

And yes, one reason I ordered a second one was to have a spare on/off switch.

Be careful buying 18650 batteries. Some are unregulated so they will fry the flashlight and likely themselves.

I am not sure what you mean by this statement. These flashlights are made so that you can add extra cylinders to them to use 2 or 3 18650 batteries as the led circuit will work the same with up to 12 volts. The light will not be brighter but it takes longer for the batteries to go dead when using more batteries.

Now, if you put the unregulated battery in backward it can burn up the led circuit on many of these flashlights immediately but, remember, you can buy a complete set of extra parts for these flashlights for only $5 with free shipping so it is not the end of the world if you happen to break yours so is it worth it to pay $10 more for a regulated battery?

That's where it's a good thing I bought two of these lights, I can stand on my roof and send him an SOS with the second flashlight.......

I have a Dorcy 3 AAA battery flashlight that is in my coat pocket all the time. It is 4" long and 1.5" in diameter. It has 9 LEDs in it and the light is good for about 50'. I paid about 6 bux fir it.
On my boat I have a lime green PELICAN StealthLite 2410 LED. It is intrinsically sound (no sparks) and is watertight to about 50' or so. $55.oo CDN
I need intrinsically sound for work, so I bought a black one for work and the brighter one for the boat. I also have two of these at home for power outages.

That message in the visible spectrum is going to need something to bounce off of to make it all the way to Missouri. Now RF energy is a different story. Just use the ionosphere!

I have several surefure flashlights The one I carry in my truck is the twist to turn on type. That one is 80 lumen I think and I usually gave it tucked under the center console ( fold down seat). Some how I had stock my wallet under the seat with it and it depressed the button and it came on. The lens melted to the wallet and it charred the seat cover. Being held on and insulated. Perfect storm. I think I was lucky not to have my truck catch fire. Glad it wasn't one of the 300 lumen ones I have.

LED. I think the only thing that kept it from going up in smoke was the battery died out.

Mine just arrived yesterday, ordered them Nov.-30-16, arrived Jan-09-17. Not a bad light for the price, bright, looks very well built, a lot better than I thought it would be.........Mike

Yours took a week longer then mine, I think the lights get held up in Missouri, probably China thinks the US boarder stops at the Gateway Arch. :stirthepot:
