By all means please go to flat mode, saves a couple of steps and some valuable tractor time if I can read the posts quicker.

I use flat mode all the time, too. But I'd like to have an option to sort it by descending date, if possible. Then, the last messages would be at the top and when we get these 2-pagers, the first page up would contain the last messages.

Please change to flat mode. The threaded messages take too long to load, and I normally want to scan through the whole thread to get an idea of the subject matter before I make my brilliant /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif response.
What I do is look at last 24 hours. The threads are all mixed up, so I just select any message. I then immediately goose (pardon the highly technical terminology) the "flat" button so that I can scan through the whole thread and get a feel for the subject. Even with my default set to "flat", I still only get the one message when I select it off the "last 24 hours" list.

I guess I'm the odd man out! I prefer threaded mode. I tried Flat mode and unless I'm doing something wrong, I have a hard time finding what I want to read. Am I just slow or am I doing something wrong? Seems like you have to do a lot of scrolling and thread order seems messed up to me! /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif What's up, any help appreciated.

Didn't know what flat mode was--assume it's the same as hitting the flat button on the site which results in all responses to a post on the page. Learn something new everyday. If so, absolutely!! Ditto the ability to read/write side to side without scrolling. Great site, thanks for your work here!!!

Yes!! Flatten it. It is a big mess to maneuver otherwise and takes tons of keystrokes. Maybe it will stop the problem of getting logged out that seems to always happen on one of these feedback etc topics.
Also is there ANYWAY to do something about the page 1 of 2 all and just select ALL. I believe once it goes to two pages a lot of people NEVER see the second page and the thread dies.
