Very interesting. I wonder why no sidewall, seems they would load up with sticks, mud, etc as wide as the slots are.

This is a very cool concept! Though I would never really have a need for these, I could see these coming in handy for the "professionals"

Yeah, currently it looks like they are only good for a very narrow load range. Even the difference between a skinny and a, ahem, larger gentleman would be outside their flex parameters.

Still, if they can stiffen them up and make them last long enough...

I'll tell ya, I'd love some for my trail bicycle.

I get soo many flats.

Yep, I have seen those for for forklifts and skid steers. My compact telehandler has 14-17.5 tires, have been looking for some R1 tread to replace the R4's that came on it.

While neat in concept, the tires on some of my tractors are 10-30 years old and either fine or tubed. If these start to go, there's not much you can do about it.
