Fluid in tires

Can't believe no one has mentioned RimGuard.
It is made from beet juice, it weighs 11 pounds a gallon, won't freeze, won't kill animals, will not rust metal like Calcium Chloride does.
I have it in my X360 rear tires.
Here, you can read up on it.

To me this is a no-no. Ethylene glycol is poison to critters and a flat could contaminate your soils and potentially critters - who are drawn to the sweet taste. Why not go to something that is environmental friendly? The pink RV antifreeze would do no harm. ;)

are you assuming the poster was not refering to a propylene glycol antifreeze vs a ethylene based one. thay are both out there....

You mention beet juice, are you assuming we all are going to think beet juice is Rim Guard?

Yep. The poster didn't specify. But when someone says to mix water and antifreeze......I would normally assume they are talking ethylene glycol....as today that is the most common antifreeze mix in my part of the world.

My intent was to caution the OP about ethylene glycol.....nothing more. Probably lots more kinds of "anti-freeze" mixes too....what is your point?

in my part of the world.. ie.. same country you sare in.. it's sold side by side.. both the ethyl and ppl.. add to that the rv stuff next to it.. so you might say that the eco safe stuff is more common in my area.. :)

my point was to not always assume the worst. ;)

Thanks for the info. I really like the idea of RV antifreeze.
Could somebody post a picture of the fill valve. I' not sure I could get one where I'm at.

Here is a link to the fill valve at TSC - TSC Fill Valve. Looks like it has gone up by a couple bucks since I bought mine 6 years ago. Still pretty cheap though.
