Is this screen primarily to improve access and egress by the hunter to the foodplot, or is it intended to cut off view for the deer to make them feel safer at the plot?

Is this screen primarily to improve access and egress by the hunter to the foodplot, or is it intended to cut off view for the deer to make them feel safer at the plot?

​

This location will afford all the above and more. The location was picked with years of watching deer cut the corner and cross the open corner of the field. The screen should alter movement to the safe side which also happens to be near 2.5 acres of alfalfa. Another benefit will be to block the view into the area from the roadway.

UPDATE 6/24/12

With only two rainfalls of less than 1 inch since being planted this has turned out rather nicely so far. It has good deep green color so it is getting a good dose of N and going to town.

Here is a photo from the side. It is taller than the surrounding grass in the field.

And here is another photo showing how it looks taken a little closer.

And here is a photo taken looking at the end for a size comparison and to show how the Atrazine worked.

Grass mowed off and Screen is up and doing one of the jobs it was intended to do from the start.
